Glossy box May 2016 review- Is it worth it?

This is the packaging that it arrived in. My friend and I both loved it when we first opened it!
So it was a good start!

To be honest, I always love their packaging, its so cute yet elegant. 

These are the products for this month's glossybox, there was a small bag of lightly salted popcorn as well (I ate it and threw it away before taking this picture, oops). 

1. 'Zero Crease Hair Tie' from Hairon. 

According to the leaflet about the products, they say it won't 'leave a kink' in your hair and that it will reduce damage or frizz. The full size prize is £3.99 but I don't know how many you will get for that. I'm more of a fabric hair tie type of person and I DO NOT like this product. Its a hair tie! I never thought I would not like a hair tie but it pulls on my hair and its pain to take out. It tangles my hair, it could be due to my frizzy hair but it does not work for my hair. 

2. Absolute New York velvet lippie

 This costs £4.93 for a full size. I like the texture a lot, its so soft and velvety(don't think this is a word, sorry). 

However, I do not think this is for my skin colour which is a really sad. It is in the colour AVL01 'RUMBA'. It does leave a matte finish and is very pigmented so a little goes a long way. I would recommend to moisture your lips before or after applying because it does dry out your lips a little, the longer you wear it. I think I would buy it but in a different colour.

3. Hawaii Tropic - Protective Dry Oil with SPF 15 

This is supposed to be a moisturiser to take on the go that also acts as suncream. However, this would be only useful in countries that do not have a lot of sun or weak sun rays. I think I would only use it as a moisturiser because the sun in the UK is actually quite strong when it actually appears. 

The texture is that of a normal oil which is too greasy to use as hand lotion but maybe body lotion might be better. It makes your skin glow or appear to glow which makes your skin look healthy. This product full size is £13.99. I would not buy it because I don't think it will protect your from the sun that well and its too greasy. 

4. Bee Good Youth - Enhancing Plump & Firm Moisturiser. 

I really like this product! It really moisturise and I like the way it feels on my skin. It glides on the skin so smoothly and it smells AMAZING!

For this product as well, you only need a little bit and it doesn't feel like you have anything on. The full size price is £23.50, I think I would buy it but I will test it for a couple of days first. 

5. Revlon Mascara.

 I like the way it looks and it really does lengthen and volumizes the lashes. Apparently this is one of Revlon's new mascara in the colour '101 Blackest Black'. I really like this mascara and I really needed one. The full size product price is £9.99, which is a good price for this. I would definitely get it again.
